Bid Manager – PMC & QAQC Services

About the role

The Bid Manager will own the end‑to‑end bid and proposal lifecycle for PMC, QAQC and design‑review services. Reporting to senior management, the role leads a small proposal team, prepares risk analyses, pricing and workload estimates, and ensures all submissions meet technical and commercial standards.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the bid/proposal process from sales inquiry to client submission.
• Lead and manage the Proposal Team (2 direct reports).
• Prepare risk analysis, pricing, and man‑hour estimates for each opportunity.
• Coordinate with Technical and Operations teams throughout the bid cycle.
• Secure management approval on scope, technical specifications and pricing before submission.
• Participate in go/no‑go decisions and present proposals to internal committees.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Bid/Proposal Management training (APMP or PMP preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in bid management for PMC, QAQC, or design‑review services.
• Strong background in risk assessment and mitigation during bid preparation.
• Excellent technical and commercial proposal writing skills.
