BIM Designer/Modeler (Aluminum/Facade)

About the role

Azizi Developments is looking for an experienced BIM Designer/Modeler to create and manage detailed 3D models for aluminum and façade systems. You will work closely with design, engineering, production, and project teams to deliver accurate models, coordinated drawings, and fabrication details for a range of façade components.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed BIM models for curtain walls, windows, doors, skylights, louvers, cladding, and glazing based on approved drawings and specifications.
• Create and maintain parametric families, components, and libraries for aluminium and façade systems, ensuring compliance with project BIM standards and required LOD.
• Coordinate BIM models with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines, identify clashes, and participate in coordination meetings to resolve issues.
• Extract and prepare shop, fabrication, assembly, and installation drawings from BIM models, including elevations, sections, plans, and schedules.
• Incorporate consultant comments, RFIs, design changes, and site instructions, maintaining revision control and issuing updated drawings.
• Provide technical support to factory and project teams, and assist in preparing as‑built BIM models at project completion.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in BIM design/modeling for aluminium and façade systems.
• Proven ability to develop accurate 3D models, coordinate multidisciplinary BIM data, and produce detailed fabrication drawings.
