BIM/CAD Technician – Infrastructure & Dry Utilities

About the role

Parsons is seeking a skilled BIM/CAD Technician to support infrastructure and dry‑utility projects in Dubai. You will work on medium‑voltage (MV) and low‑voltage (LV) power distribution, lighting, telecom, security networks, pump stations, and bridge/tunnel designs.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and modify engineering drawings, layouts, flow sheets, isometrics and component details from sketches or design data.
• Collaborate with CAD & BIM Managers, Design Leads and Engineers to ensure deliverables meet company standards and quality requirements.
• Review drawings for readability, presentation and compliance with QA/QC processes.
• Create parametric and non‑parametric families for BIM models.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to resolve design conflicts.
• Stay informed of local electricity authority standards (DEWA, SEWA, Etihad WE, DM) where applicable.

Required profile

• Diploma (or equivalent) in Electrical & Electronics or a 4‑year engineering degree.
• Minimum 5 years of CAD drafting experience on infrastructure and dry‑utility projects.
• Fluent English communication skills.
