Business Analyst – Life Insurance (Dubai)

About the role

Al Futtaim is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with deep Life Insurance domain expertise to support business transformation and technology initiatives in Dubai. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, operations teams and technology partners to capture, analyse and document requirements, define target processes and ensure successful solution delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand objectives, processes, challenges and requirements.
• Conduct workshops, discovery sessions and stakeholder interviews to gather detailed requirements.
• Prepare Business Requirement Documents, Functional Requirement Specifications, User Stories, process flows and use cases.
• Analyse existing processes, recommend improvements and identify automation opportunities.
• Support testing activities (SIT and UAT) by validating requirements and test scenarios.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of Business Analysis experience, including at least 5 years in Life Insurance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, IT, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Relevant certifications such as CBAP or CCBA are an advantage.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Experience with API integrations and core insurance ecosystems.
• Familiarity with Life Insurance Policy Administration Systems and PAS selection/implementation projects.
