Business Compliance Officer – AVP

About the role

The Business Compliance Officer (AVP) will advise the Business on implementing and managing the control framework to ensure compliance with DFSA regulations and applicable legislation for the firm’s financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prioritize and assess compliance risks and provide guidance on internal controls.
• Offer regulatory advice to business and infrastructure areas and oversee remediation of internal and external findings.
• Conduct training for relevant business units on applicable rules.

Required profile

• In‑depth knowledge of DFSA financial regulations and ability to translate them into practical compliance guidance.
• Proven experience in risk identification, assessment and mitigation, including developing risk‑management frameworks.
• Strong advisory and communication skills, both verbal and written.
