Business Development Executive - E-commerce

About the role

A Business Development Executive for e-commerce is needed in Dubai. The role involves identifying, prospecting and engaging potential clients and partners in the e-commerce space, building relationships with existing customers and collaborating across departments to deliver tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new business opportunities with e-commerce clients and strategic partners.
• Manage the full sales process, from lead generation and client pitching to deal closing and post-sale account servicing.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to deliver excellent service and find growth opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and industry developments to refine business development strategies.
• Work with marketing and technical teams to create and present bespoke solutions for clients.
• Produce regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports and performance insights for management.
• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions and networking forums to raise brand visibility.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally in the e-commerce sector.
• Full sales cycle experience, from lead generation through closing and aftercare.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.
• Nice to have: experience in a fast-paced, multicultural environment; knowledge of CRM tools and sales pipeline software; Arabic; existing network in the UAE e-commerce ecosystem; digital marketing or technical sales experience.
