Category Head - Cisco / Oracle

About the role

A strategic and commercially driven Category Head is sought to lead the Cisco / Oracle business across the Africa Cluster, based in Dubai. The role focuses on business expansion, revenue growth, profitability, vendor engagement and building long-term customer and channel partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies to grow the business and increase market share.
• Own the overall P&L, driving revenue, profitability and sustainable performance.
• Strengthen relationships with Cisco / Oracle and build partnerships with key customers and channel partners.
• Identify new market opportunities, onboard potential vendors where relevant and expand the regional business.
• Work with sales teams on business plans, product initiatives, vendor programs and promotions.
• Drive customer-centric business development and monitor market trends and competition.
• Lead and motivate teams to achieve business targets.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in technology distribution, category management or business leadership.
• Strong track record in P&L management, business development and profitability improvement.
• Proven ability in strategic planning, vendor management and commercial negotiations.
• Experience in sales leadership, channel partnerships and regional expansion.
• Desirable: experience in distribution, logistics and complex technology business environments.
