Business Development Executive - Tyre Business

About the role

The Business Development Executive drives sales and business development initiatives for the Tyre business. The role explores new opportunities, runs feasibility studies, prepares product mix forecasts and supports new product launches with the Line Manager and Sales Team to meet sales and value targets. It also covers training customers and team members on products.

Key responsibilities

• Explore new business opportunities, meet existing and new customers weekly and build long-term relationships to sustain the company's presence and brand awareness.
• Proactively generate leads and develop propositions to secure new partnerships with companies, principals and customers.
• Support the Line Manager in presenting and demonstrating the value of Tyre Service and Solution concepts, and monitor existing CPK contracts using data and insights from the Michelin software Tire Check.
• Carry out feasibility studies to define new business streams, including evaluating Tier 2 and Tier 3 tyre brands, and liaise with prospective brand partners to expand the CME business portfolio.
• Plan promotional activities and organise marketing events for new product launches and customer retention, working with the sales team and marketing department.
• Assist in developing and following SOPs and SLAs, and work with middle management, clients, principals and service providers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in business development or sales within the automotive parts industry.
