Business Development Lead – Downstream Business

About the role

The Business Development Lead will drive profitable growth and expand Bureau Veritas' market presence across the UAE downstream value chain, covering refining, petrochemicals, gas processing, terminals, storage, pipelines and related industrial facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a robust UAE downstream market map, identify high‑potential opportunities and develop account penetration strategies.
• Own relationships with senior executives, procurement teams and technical authorities, leading strategic account reviews and cross‑selling across the Bureau Veritas portfolio.
• Qualify leads, coordinate technical, legal and financial inputs for proposals, lead bid strategy, pricing and negotiation for tenders and contracts.
• Deliver order intake, revenue, margin and new‑client targets while providing accurate pipeline and forecast updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, energy management or related field; postgraduate commercial qualification is a plus.
• 7‑10 years of experience in downstream oil & gas, petrochemicals or industrial services with a proven record of complex B2B sales in the UAE.
• Strong understanding of downstream assets, operating models, project lifecycles and client procurement processes.
