Business Development Manager - Institutional Payments

About the role

Taptap Send is building a new institutional payments business, moving money across 80+ emerging market corridors and opening that infrastructure to institutional clients such as crypto exchanges, fintechs, MTOs and corporate treasury teams. This is an early commercial hire based in Dubai. You will own a pipeline of institutional partners from first contact through to live, working closely with trading and ops to structure deals and get clients across the line quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Source and close new institutional partnerships across crypto, fintech and payments
• Manage the full BD cycle: outreach, qualification, commercial negotiation and onboarding handoff
• Represent Taptap Send at industry events and build a profile in target segments
• Work with internal teams to turn client needs into product and corridor priorities
• Maintain a clean pipeline and report directly to senior leadership

Required profile

• 3-5 years in BD, partnerships or sales within payments, crypto or FX
• An existing network across crypto exchanges, MTOs or EM fintechs
• Comfortable selling a technical product to sophisticated buyers, treasury teams, CFOs and heads of payments
• Organised, self-directed and able to work without a large support structure
