Business Development Manager – Insurance Sales (Dubai)

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Dubai and focuses on generating new insurance business, building client relationships and delivering tailored insurance solutions for prospective customers.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new leads and expand the client portfolio through proactive business development activities.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
• Understand client requirements and recommend appropriate insurance products, including property, SME & individual medical, marine, motor, liability and other general lines.
• Prepare proposals, present insurance quotes and customize plans using internal tools and systems.
• Achieve assigned sales and business growth targets.
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims and operations teams to ensure seamless client servicing.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales and relationship management, preferably within the UAE insurance market.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and proposal preparation skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet performance goals and thrive in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance or a related field, or relevant certifications.

Required skills

• Knowledge of insurance solutions across multiple lines (property, marine, motor, liability, medical, etc.).
• Familiarity with UAE market regulations and insurance practices.
