Business Development Officer – Insurance

About the role

The Business Development Officer will drive growth of Mashreq's insurance portfolio by identifying new opportunities and cross‑selling life insurance products to existing and prospective clients. You will work closely with sales, marketing and other departments to deliver a seamless customer experience across the UAE market.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and target new business opportunities within the UAE insurance market.
• Cross‑sell life insurance products to existing and potential clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering tailored insurance solutions.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop lead‑generation strategies.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations and insurance plans.
• Attend industry events and networking opportunities to represent Mashreq Bank.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of UAE experience in business development or sales, preferably in insurance.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Strong knowledge of life insurance products and ability to explain complex concepts.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CRM systems.
