Business Insight Analyst – Finance & People

About the role

As a Business Insight Analyst you will partner with Finance and People teams to turn data into actionable insights that drive performance and decision‑making. You will work within the central data team while collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that combine financial and workforce metrics.
• Analyse data directly from the Databricks platform and translate business questions into analytical solutions.
• Provide actionable recommendations and support enterprise reporting aligned to Cognita’s KPI framework.
• Contribute to AI‑powered tools and self‑service analytics capabilities in collaboration with Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering and AI Enablement.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in a business‑facing analyst, insight or BI role, preferably with finance or HR data.
• Strong ability to gather requirements, prioritise competing demands and communicate findings to stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Required skills

• SQL for data exploration and ad‑hoc analysis.
• Power BI for building and maintaining dashboards and reports.
• Familiarity with Databricks platform.
• Understanding of Agile methodology.
