Business Performance and Operations Specialist

About the role

BESTSELLER Region East, which brings together brands such as JACK & JONES, VERO MODA and ONLY, is looking for an analytical and commercially minded Business Performance and Operations Specialist to support its wholesale business across the GCC. Based in Dubai, the role works closely with commercial teams and cross-functional stakeholders to optimise business processes, analyse performance, support strategic decisions and improve the experience of wholesale partners.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee key commercial processes, including purchase orders, open orders, stock ageing and overdue order follow-ups, and collaborate with Sales, Logistics and Finance
• Identify ways to simplify processes, improve efficiency and enhance the wholesale partner experience, and support Country Sales Managers with operational and customer issues
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity, pricing and commercial performance, and monitor KPIs such as Never Out of Stock (NOOS) and target gaps
• Support business planning, budgeting and commercial performance reviews, and turn data into clear recommendations
• Partner with Finance on profitability, margins, sales forecasting and financial planning, and develop business cases and commercial scenarios
• Monitor commercial terms, financial securities and key financial timelines

Required profile

• Proven experience in the GCC fashion industry and understanding of the regional wholesale environment
• Solid understanding of supply chain operations, wholesale distribution and commercial processes
• Knowledge of key regional customers and an established network in the GCC fashion industry
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, able to work independently and cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Logistics, Technology and regional teams

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel and business reporting tools
• Experience with Power BI or similar analytics platforms is an advantage
