Business Researcher

About the role

The Business Researcher will conduct high‑quality economic and business research to support Dubai Chamber’s initiatives, inform policy development and promote Dubai as a global business hub. The role combines quantitative and qualitative analysis, data interpretation and presentation of insights to senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design of research frameworks, surveys, and analytical models.
• Conduct economic, sectoral, and market research using quantitative and qualitative methods.
• Analyze trade, investment, and business data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support strategic planning and policy.
• Translate complex economic findings into clear, business‑friendly insights and present them to senior management and stakeholders.
• Contribute to forecasting, scenario analysis, and economic outlook studies.

Required profile

• PhD, Master or Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business studies, International Trade, Finance or related fields.
• Minimum 4‑6 years of experience in economic research, business analysis or consulting.
• Strong understanding of macro‑economic and business indicators.
• Experience working with large datasets and statistical tools; prior research project management.
• High command of English and Arabic (reading, spoken, written).

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with Power BI, R, STATA or similar analytical software.
• Strong research and report‑writing skills.
• Knowledge of statistical and econometric methods.
