About the role

The Business Service Outsourcing Manager will lead a portfolio of client engagements, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders. This role combines strategic advisory, delivery oversight, and business development within BDO's consulting practice.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of outsourcing, accounting, and payroll engagements, ensuring high‑quality outcomes.
• Act as a trusted advisor to client management and key stakeholders, delivering strategic recommendations.
• Lead engagement planning, resource allocation, and delivery oversight across complex projects.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to expand services, cross‑sell, and grow client relationships.
• Develop, mentor, and lead high‑performing, inclusive teams.
• Ensure effective governance, quality management, and risk oversight throughout engagements.
• Drive innovation, efficiency, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Support revenue, profitability, and utilization targets.
• Own business‑development outcomes by generating leads and achieving growth targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA, CMA or equivalent) required.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant outsourcing, consulting or advisory experience.
• Proven leadership capability and experience managing client portfolios.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management and relationship‑building skills.
• Experience leading complex client engagements and multidisciplinary teams.
