Business Solutions Automation Specialist

About the role

The Business Solutions Automation Specialist will develop and deliver automation strategies for Airports & Ground Operations. The role focuses on reducing manual intervention while raising productivity, consistency and quality across operational processes.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Manager in collating, reporting and escalating automation projects, targeting a 30% reduction in manual tasks.
• Identify, develop and build automation solutions, primarily using Office365 applications, to improve efficiency.
• Report any limitations of automated solutions to the Manager and ensure smooth rollout.
• Complete departmental automation projects within agreed timeframes.
• Propose innovative, professional solutions aligned with departmental goals and stay updated on emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma or relevant licence/certification.
• 4‑6 years of experience in Above Wing or Ground Handling Operations within an airline or ground handling agency.
• Subject‑matter expertise in passenger handling operations and airport systems.
