About the role
Bombardier is establishing a new Service Center in Abu Dhabi and seeks a Buyer to manage the acquisition of parts, tools and components required for aircraft maintenance. The role supports the Middle East aftermarket team and ensures timely delivery of materials to meet customer and operational needs.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and forecast part and material requirements, coordinating acquisition with internal and external suppliers.
- Locate, initiate and expedite purchase orders, track status of external and internal parts orders.
- Maintain shortage reports, create internal orders, and manage part number requests.
- Update inventory records using computerized systems and handle re‑ordering of materials, tools and ground support equipment.
Required profile
- Approximately 5 years of experience in aviation, material/parts or equivalent procurement environment.
- Experience with SAP and strong planning and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work across multiple projects.
