About the role
The Buyer will manage procurement activities for assigned materials and services, supporting the Purchasing Coordinator and Head of Purchasing Department.
Key responsibilities
- Float RFQs, obtain quotations, conduct commercial evaluations and prepare bid tabulations.
- Negotiate commercial and contractual terms, achieve cost savings and ensure timely delivery.
- Issue and follow up Purchase Orders until acceptance and coordinate with engineering, logistics and accounts teams.
- Maintain procurement records, support vendor development and monitor supplier performance.
Required profile
- University degree or diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
- 3–4 years of procurement experience in EPC/Oil & Gas projects in the UAE or international market.
- Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
