Buying Executive - Automotive

About the role

The Buying Executive at Al-Futtaim Automotive (Automall) sources and purchases vehicles to meet stock requirements at advised prices. The role is central to the buying team, which is the sole source of vehicles for the organization, and helps maintain balanced stock age and achieve financial goals such as gross margin targets.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and purchase the required vehicles at the recommended price to meet monthly purchase targets.
• Achieve the budgeted gross margin by negotiating favourable terms.
• Keep the stock mix balanced and appropriately priced to promote faster turnover and meet stock age targets.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience in line with the company's behaviour standards.
• Sell vehicles through wholesale channels to meet trade sale targets.
• Carry out accurate vehicle inspections and ensure correct valuation on all purchases.

Required profile

• Diploma or graduation in a relevant field.
• At least 1 year of experience in buying or selling vehicles.
• Experience in a major franchise workshop is beneficial.
• Ability to work in a high-paced, multicultural environment while focusing on monthly targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Exceptional customer service skills aligned with company values.
