Cards Channel Manager

About the role

The Cards Channel Manager leads outsourced sales teams across the UAE for HSBC's International Wealth and Premier Banking business. The role centres on commercial growth, team leadership and strong third-party risk oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Lead outsourced sales teams across the UAE, setting performance expectations and providing coaching and field support.
• Drive customer acquisition for accounts, credit cards and personal lending through approved channels.
• Manage third-party governance, including service levels, staffing, invoices, documentation and issue escalation.
• Ensure compliance and control standards, including approved sales journeys, regulatory requirements and customer-contact methods.
• Build corporate partnerships and expand channels through activations, kiosks, events and new sales locations.
• Monitor quality, handle complaints and maintain consistent service standards.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of IWPB products, propositions and services, able to explain them clearly to customers.
• Proven sales expertise in multiproduct, especially with high-net-worth customers and financial products.
• People-management capability: leading, motivating, coaching and developing sales teams.
• Networking and business-development skills to build corporate relationships and hit acquisition targets.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• High risk and customer-service awareness, with sound problem-solving and a commitment to compliance, fair dealing and quality outcomes.
• A graduation degree is essential for a UAE visa and work permit; certificates from outside the UAE need attestation and equivalency.
