Category Coordinator

About the role

Careers International is hiring a Category Coordinator in Dubai within the FMCG, foods and beverage sector. The role supports the category management team in keeping product inventory and categorization up to date, and helps develop and run marketing and sales strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Support the category management team in maintaining product inventory and categorization.
• Monitor product performance, analyse sales data and generate reports.
• Help organize product launches, promotional activities and brand events.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on campaign execution and coordinate with suppliers, vendors and other stakeholders.
• Maintain and update marketing materials, catalogues and product information, and handle internal communications on category and product updates.
• Prepare sales and marketing reports, presentations and updates.
• Assist in managing social media platforms and brand-related content.

Required profile

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a sales assistant, marketing assistant or similar role, preferably in the food industry.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
