Team Leader – Retail

About the role

A full-time Team Leader position in retail operations and sales in the UAE. The role supervises the shop-floor sales team, drives sales targets and ensures high customer service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support the retail sales team on the shop floor and drive individual and store sales targets.
• Monitor team performance, productivity and customer service standards; coach and motivate team members.
• Ensure excellent customer experience, resolve escalated concerns, and support new joiner onboarding and training.
• Support daily opening and closing, monitor stock availability and replenishment, and ensure visual merchandising and store standards.
• Prepare sales updates, reports and performance trackers, and support roster planning and shift coordination.
• Coordinate with the Store Manager and internal teams, ensure compliance with policies and SOPs, and handle complaints.

Required profile

• Previous retail sales or store operations experience.
• Prior experience as a Team Leader, Senior Sales Associate, Supervisor or similar role.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays; UAE retail experience preferred.

Required skills

• People management, coaching and strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of POS, stock management and retail operations.
• Understanding of sales targets, KPIs, conversion and customer service.
