Chef De Partie – Hotel Kitchen

About the role

The Chef De Partie will manage a specific kitchen section at Swissotel Al Ghurair, ensuring all dishes meet the highest quality, hygiene and service standards for both banquet and à‑la‑carte outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meats, poultry, fish, vegetables, pastry items and fruits to exact specifications.
• Maintain food quality, nutritional standards and proper storage/handling procedures.
• Control portion sizes, cooking temperatures, product cooling and labelling.
• Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment to the team.
• Support apprentices through training, development and performance reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in a hotel kitchen environment.
• Ability to work under high pressure and maintain professional relationships with service team members.
• Awareness of hotel policies, health and safety regulations and willingness to report hazards.

Required skills

• Proficient knife skills.
• Use of standard kitchen equipment and tools.
• Food preparation and cooking techniques for a wide range of ingredients.
