Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Group Finance Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, hands‑on Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance function of a diversified UAE‑based group operating in mobile phone & electronics trading, logistics, and warehousing. Reporting directly to the Group CEO and Board, the CFO will own consolidated financials, tax compliance, banking relationships, and internal controls across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for all group entities.
• Manage cash flow, treasury activities and banking relationships in AED, USD and GBP.
• Oversee UAE VAT registration, filing and corporate tax compliance.
• Lead annual audits and coordinate with external auditors.
• Control high‑value inventory at IMEI level, investigate shrinkage and analyse gross profit per transaction.
• Design and enforce internal controls, fraud‑prevention measures and segregation of duties.
• Mentor and lead finance teams located in Pakistan and the UAE.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and business‑planning for expansion decisions.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, CMA, CPA or equivalent).
• 8–12 years of finance experience, including 3–5 years in a senior finance leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT/Corporate Tax regulations.
• Experience in trading, electronics, logistics or other inventory‑intensive businesses.
• Proven track record managing multi‑company/group accounts.
• Hands‑on, investigative mindset with willingness to travel to the UAE as needed.
