Chief of Staff

About the role

Aventus Global is looking for an experienced Chief of Staff to report to its Founder & Principal, who oversees a portfolio of businesses in investment management, technology and infrastructure. The role is based in Dubai but involves extensive international travel, and the successful candidate acts as a trusted right-hand person, coordinating across the group and ensuring the Principal is well informed so he can make key business and investment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main link between the Principal and the CEOs of the group's businesses.
• Coordinate business updates, executive meetings and key priorities across the portfolio.
• Review reports, investment papers and business proposals so that key information and recommendations are clear.
• Prepare the Principal for board meetings, investment discussions, negotiations and other strategic engagements.
• Communicate decisions, monitor progress and ensure agreed actions are delivered.
• Identify cross-business priorities, potential risks and matters needing the Principal's attention.
• Manage the Principal's schedule, travel, correspondence and daily priorities.
• Handle requests and stakeholder communications on the Principal's behalf where authorised.
• Lead special projects and strategic initiatives across the group as required.
• Build working relationships with senior executives, investors and key external stakeholders.
• Maintain strict confidentiality on sensitive business, financial and personal information.

Required profile

• Minimum of 10 years in the same or a similar role.
• Experience working directly with a CEO, Founder, Principal or other key company stakeholders.
• Preferred: experience at group level overseeing portfolio companies.
• Bachelor's degree as minimum qualification.
• Must be able to travel for work mainly between the UAE and Switzerland.
