Chief Steward

About the role

Hilton is hiring a Chief Steward in Dubai. The role provides strategic oversight of all stewarding operations across the property and delivers memorable experiences for every guest. The position is full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee inventory control: coordinate daily distribution, storage and maintenance of china, glassware, linen and silver so they are accurate and available
• Ensure food service equipment is kept secure, maintained and fully functional
• Develop, implement and enforce sanitation procedures so food and beverage areas meet hygiene and safety regulations
• Monitor expenses and apply cost-saving strategies while keeping quality standards
• Recruit, train, supervise, coach and mentor team members, run performance evaluations and offer professional development
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness regulations

Required profile

• High school diploma or university degree (the highest required level)
• Several years of experience in hotel management
• A passion for hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership and a focus on the present
