Civil Inspector – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Civil Inspector to oversee infrastructure construction in Dubai. You will ensure that all works comply with codes, standards, and project specifications while supporting a sustainable, high‑quality built environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform civil and structural tests such as soil compaction, concrete slump, compression, and reinforcement bolt torque.
• Conduct nondestructive testing on metals (magnaflex, dye‑penetrant, radiographic, paint thickness, resistivity).
• Inspect underground piping, piling installation, and utility systems for tightness, alignment, and proper pressure testing.
• Validate electrical installations, grounding, and circuit integrity.
• Maintain daily inspection logs, coordinate with surveyors and contractors, and report any non‑conformances to the Resident Engineer.

Required profile

• Diploma (3‑year) or equivalent degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of construction supervision on roads, bridges, highways or utilities, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications and P&ID drawings.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
