Civil Supervisor – Large‑Scale Project in Dubai

About the role

Decima International is seeking a detail‑oriented Civil Supervisor to oversee day‑to‑day civil construction activities on a large‑scale project in Dubai, UAE. The role is site‑based and requires strong civil engineering knowledge, practical supervision experience, and the ability to coordinate daily site operations safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise civil works such as excavation, backfilling, concrete, foundations, structural elements, blockwork, finishes, roads, drainage and utilities.
• Ensure all activities follow approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, site engineers, consultants, QA/QC, HSE and project management teams.
• Monitor progress against schedules, look‑ahead plans and daily targets, and report constraints or risks.
• Support inspections, verify compliance with inspection and test plans, and ensure adherence to codes and standards.
• Review and comment on method statements, shop drawings, material deliveries and other site documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising civil works on large‑scale building, infrastructure, industrial or mission‑critical projects.
• Strong civil engineering background with hands‑on knowledge of construction processes.
• Ability to identify and resolve site issues, quality concerns and safety risks.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills with multiple project stakeholders.
