Collections Officer

About the role

The Collections Officer manages and ensures timely collection of outstanding payments from clients while maintaining positive relationships with customers. The role follows up on payment obligations, addresses related concerns and works with clients to settle their accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the collection process for outstanding accounts and follow up with clients by call, email and face-to-face meetings on overdue payments.
• Maintain strong client relationships and explain outstanding balances, payment options and DLD rules and regulations clearly.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions, payment status and follow-ups in the CRM system.
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements in line with company policy and resolve payment disputes.
• Prepare regular reports on collection activity, outstanding balances and payment trends for management.
• Collaborate with sales and finance teams on accurate billing and client issues, and help identify collection risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years of collection experience in real estate or banking.
• Knowledge of real estate payment systems, property sales and collection-related legal procedures.
• French or Russian speaking candidates only.
