Commercial Manager - Maritime Services, Dubai

About the role

A leading global maritime services organisation, recruiting through Nautilus Search, is looking for a Commercial Manager based in Dubai. The role drives new business development, strengthens existing customer relationships and supports regional growth plans across the UAE and wider Middle East. It is a highly visible position with the chance to influence the commercial direction of a key market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a business plan for the assigned territory
• Generate, qualify and convert new business opportunities in the maritime and offshore sectors
• Build and maintain a structured sales pipeline from lead generation to contract award
• Manage and grow relationships with existing customers, including regular meetings with clear objectives and action plans
• Lead commercial discussions, proposals, pricing negotiations and contract formation
• Maintain accurate opportunity, pipeline and account data in Salesforce
• Deliver reliable sales forecasts and performance reporting
• Identify ways to expand service adoption across existing accounts
• Work with operations and commercial colleagues on customer outcomes
• Represent the business at industry events, conferences and customer meetings

Required profile

• Proven experience in a commercial, business development or account management role in maritime, shipping, logistics or offshore sectors
• Track record of revenue growth and winning new business
• Experience managing strategic customer relationships
• Comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy

Required skills

• Salesforce experience and ability to manage sales pipelines
• CRM systems and sales pipeline management
• Negotiation and commercial acumen

Highly desirable: experience selling maritime services, vessel support or port-related services; an established network among ship owners, operators and offshore organisations; knowledge of the Middle East maritime market; Arabic language skills.
