Commis 1 – Cold Kitchen

About the role

Accor is looking for a motivated Commis 1 – Cold to join its kitchen team in a 5‑star hotel environment. This position offers a chance to develop culinary skills on a world‑class platform while contributing to high‑quality guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the cold section, ensuring mise en place and station set‑up meet daily requirements.
• Monitor kitchen cleanliness, equipment hygiene and follow safety regulations.
• Assist in supervising breakfast and à‑la‑carte service, controlling portion size and presentation.
• Communicate effectively with customers, co‑workers and supervisors, adhering to hotel policies and standards.

Required profile

• Creative and passionate about food and customer service.
• Ability to work in a high‑pressure environment and as a team player.
• Bachelor’s degree or culinary certification required.
• Experience in a 5‑star hotel or relevant hospitality setting.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cold kitchen operations and mise en place preparation.
• Understanding of food safety, first aid and accident procedures.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001/ISO 14001 and Accor environmental charter.
