About the role
The Commis 1 supports the kitchen team at Four Points by Sheraton in Sharjah, preparing meals, maintaining food quality, and assisting with service operations. This full‑time, non‑management position ensures guests receive consistent, high‑standard dining experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare special meals, cold foods, and follow recipes, quality and presentation standards.
- Regulate oven, broiler, grill temperatures and monitor food logs.
- Thaw frozen items, portion, arrange, garnish, and ensure proper food storage.
- Communicate menu specials, out‑of‑stock items, and excess food usage to chefs and service staff.
- Assist with hiring, training, scheduling and employee motivation as needed.
- Follow safety, security, and company policies, reporting any hazards or incidents.
Required profile
- Technical, trade or vocational school education.
- At least 3 years of related food‑service experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
