Commis – Food & Beverage (Full‑Time)

About the role
We are looking for a motivated Commis to join our Food & Beverage team at Le Méridien in Fujairah. The role involves supporting the kitchen by preparing ingredients, cooking under supervision and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and portion ingredients, wash, peel, measure and mix according to recipes.
- Cook and assemble hot and cold dishes, operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers.
- Set‑up and break down work stations, serve food in proper portions and maintain hygiene standards.
- Monitor food quality, check appliance temperatures and follow safety and security procedures.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food‑service environment.
- Ability to stand, walk and lift up to 25 lb for an entire shift.
- Professional appearance and good communication skills.
Required skills
- Food preparation (portioning, chopping, measuring, mixing).
- Operation of kitchen equipment: ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, fryers.
