About the role
JA The Resort is seeking a motivated Commis I to join its culinary team in Dubai. The role involves preparing and presenting dishes to high standards while supporting overall kitchen operations.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and present dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Support the kitchen team in delivering exceptional food quality and service.
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety.
- Handle, store, and rotate food products properly.
- Assist in stock management and waste minimisation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Commis I or similar role in a hotel or restaurant.
- Knowledge of International Cuisine.
- Good understanding of HACCP principles and food safety standards.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
