Commissioning Superintendent I&C

About the role

KBR is seeking an experienced Commissioning Superintendent I&C to lead commissioning activities on a mega EPC project in Abu Dhabi. The role involves coordinating with licensors and vendors to ensure smooth start‑up of gas and condensate facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor commissioning activities in line with licensor and vendor procedures.
• Review and approve pre‑commissioning and commissioning procedures, manuals, and mechanical completion certificates.
• Participate in commissioning meetings, troubleshoot obstacles, and ensure readiness for MC and RFSU certification.
• Monitor punch‑list closure and ensure handover complies with contractual documents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 18 years of commissioning/operation readiness experience, preferably in the GCC.
• At least 5 years in oil & gas or petrochemical projects, with exposure to sour gas, hydrogen production, or hydro‑desulfurization.
