About the role
Emirates Islamic Bank is seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Compliance Specialist to manage compliance and governance cases across Priority Banking centres. The role involves full ownership of case management, timely escalation handling, and close coordination with Relationship Managers and Customer Service Representatives.
Key responsibilities
- Review, monitor and assign all compliance and governance cases to district Customer Service Representatives and Relationship Managers.
- Maintain a live tracker to monitor case status, progress and closure.
- Prepare recommendations for senior management on customer retention cases.
- Escalate cases requiring intervention to the PRB Support Team and ensure timely resolution.
- Drive prompt closure of escalations, requests and compliance‑related actions.
- Conduct regular discussions with Unit Managers on case updates and uphold professional governance standards.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 2 years of banking experience in a similar compliance or governance role.
- UAE national status.
