Construction Site Lead for PMC Projects

About the role

Lead the Project Construction team to deliver safe, on‑time execution of major oil & gas projects in Abu Dhabi. Champion the safety objective of “Nobody gets Hurt” while coordinating construction activities across contractors, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage construction planning, development and operations to ensure compliance with project objectives and strategies.
• Oversee contractor and subcontractor safety plans, ensuring adherence to integrated safety and SIMOPS requirements.
• Coordinate interfaces with ADNOC, production operations and other projects to minimise disruption during brownfield works.
• Report construction progress, performance and issues to the Project Team and lead readiness reviews, constructability workshops and CERs.
• Mentor and train UAE nationals in construction management and communicate clear goals for the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent); Master’s degree in management is a plus.
• 20+ years of oil & gas construction management experience on major projects.
• Proven experience managing global contractors and suppliers.
• Strong decision‑making, planning and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
