Construction Supervisor – Mechanical (Offshore)

About the role

Worley is seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Supervisor to lead offshore construction activities. You will work within a multi‑discipline team, ensuring smooth coordination between EPC contractors and company operations while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and resolve construction bottlenecks, monitor progress against the project schedule and manage punch‑list items.
• Coordinate interfaces between EPC contractors, provide clarifications, and ensure compliance with approved procedures, permits, and safety requirements.
• Review and approve construction plans, method statements, Inspection & Test Plans and mechanical completion dossiers.
• Oversee inspection of work performed by EPC contractors and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to quality and HSEQ standards.
• Support handover of final project documents, manage “Right First Time” start‑up concepts and ensure proper vendor/licensor mobilisation.

Required profile

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent with at least 10 years of Oil & Gas or Petrochemical experience (8 years for UAE nationals).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the GCC region, including offshore (island, barge, platform) projects.
• Proven experience in debottlenecking, flare minimisation and 12"/18" pipeline conversion projects.

• Advanced Work Packages (AWP) knowledge.
• Mechanical Completion and Pre‑commissioning procedures.
• Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) development and execution.
• HSEQ compliance and safety management.
