Consultant – Freezones (Emirati)

About the role

The Dubai government is seeking a proactive Consultant – Freezones (Emirati) to support the coordination and implementation of strategic projects across Freezones, government entities and key stakeholders. The role involves managing multiple initiatives, ensuring policy compliance and delivering high-quality reporting in a dynamic public-sector environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with Freezones, government entities and internal teams to ensure smooth project implementation.
• Manage day-to-day operations of assigned projects, tracking objectives, timelines and milestones.
• Serve as the primary contact for policies, procedures, complaints, mandates and council communications.
• Organise meetings, workshops, training sessions and events related to Freezone Council activities.
• Follow up on ongoing and incoming projects, working closely with task forces to ensure successful delivery.
• Support the development, review and implementation of policies, procedures, resolutions and process improvements.
• Provide input on customer journey mapping, service delivery channels, complaints and suggestions.
• Prepare accurate periodic and annual reports for senior leadership, boards and committees.
• Maintain council databases, files and information systems while ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations and industry trends affecting Freezone operations.

Required profile

• 3-6 years of project management experience, preferably within government or public-sector environments.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and reporting abilities.
• Experience in policy development, operations or government relations.
• Understanding of Freezone, government or public-sector contexts is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-moving environment.
