Consultant Physician / Specialist in UAE

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Physician to join a prestigious healthcare organization in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based patient care, contributing to medical education, and leading clinical initiatives within a multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide patient‑centered clinical care, assess, diagnose, treat and manage complex medical conditions.
• Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Offer expert consultations and second opinions for challenging cases and participate in on‑call and emergency coverage.
• Supervise, mentor and educate medical students, interns, residents and junior physicians.
• Engage in clinical research, quality‑improvement projects, publications and academic activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Required profile

• Medical Degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Board certification or recognized specialty qualification.
• Minimum 8 years post‑specialization experience, including consultant or specialist level work.
• Valid DHA license or eligibility for UAE licensure.
• Proven expertise in managing complex cases and delivering evidence‑based care.
• Experience in multidisciplinary collaboration, teaching, mentoring and clinical leadership.
