Consultant / Specialist Medical Oncologist

About the role

A leading tertiary‑care hospital in Dubai is expanding its oncology services and seeks a qualified Medical Oncologist to join a multidisciplinary cancer care team. The role involves delivering comprehensive oncology care in a modern hospital with advanced diagnostics and infusion services.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage patients with solid tumours and selected haematologic cancers.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy and hormonal therapy.
• Administer and monitor systemic cancer treatments, ensuring safety and efficacy.
• Assess treatment response, adjust management strategies, and manage toxicities.
• Participate in tumour board meetings and multidisciplinary case discussions.
• Provide counselling and education to patients and families.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with hospital policies and regulations.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or specialist qualification in Medical Oncology (e.g., ABIM, UK CCT, European Board, Royal College, Australian Fellowship, Arab Board, DM/DNB/MD/FNB/FCPS).
• Minimum 3 years post‑specialist or board certification experience.
• Eligibility for DOH/DHA/MOH licensing in the UAE (support provided).
