Contracts & Agreements Specialist – Infrastructure & Building Projects

About the role

We are a leading industrial group in the UAE seeking a Contracts & Agreements Specialist to manage and optimise contracts for our metal, oil & gas, and real‑estate projects. The role involves negotiating terms, preparing contracts, evaluating bids and ensuring alignment with legal and business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate, draft and review contracts, RFQs and sub‑contracts for infrastructure and building projects.
• Manage extension of time and financial claims, tender evaluation and budgeting.
• Identify and resolve scope ambiguities, schedule discrepancies and commercial issues.
• Collaborate with engineering, program managers, legal teams and vendors to align MRP data, BOM and cost estimates.
• Monitor active contracts, track KPIs, and apply Earned Value Management (EVM) for schedule and cost control.
• Attend post‑contract meetings with consultants and clients to finalise invoicing, payment terms and cash‑flow schedules.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of legal principles and regulatory standards related to contracts.
• Proven experience in contract pricing, administration and claim management for infrastructure projects.
• Ability to minimise risk while protecting the organisation’s financial and legal interests.
• Excellent collaboration skills with internal teams, vendors and external stakeholders.
