Corporate Tax Associate (UAE National)

About the role

The Associate – Corporate Tax will support Aldar Group’s tax function by implementing tax strategies, ensuring compliance, and providing M&A tax expertise. This position is open exclusively to UAE nationals.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the AVP – Corporate Tax and the wider tax team to execute corporate tax strategies aligned with group objectives.
• Review monthly tax provision calculations, reconcile them to the ledger, and assist with annual corporate tax compliance filings.
• Conduct detailed reviews of deferred tax calculations and ensure adherence to accounting standards.
• Lead transfer pricing initiatives, support Country‑by‑Country Reporting, Pillar 2, and Economic Substance Regulations compliance.
• Provide tax expertise during mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions, including due diligence and post‑transaction integration.
• Prepare and review tax‑related financial reports and disclosures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, external advisors, and tax authorities on inquiries, audits, and projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, M&A, consultancy, or related tax functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience in the real‑estate sector and knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations.
• UAE national citizenship.
