Country Accounting Manager

About the role

The Country Accounting Manager will lead the finance and accounting function for Plaza Premium Group’s operations across the United Arab Emirates. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, cash management, tax compliance and audit readiness for multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Monthly Financial Reports in line with IAS and local GAAP.
• Oversee cash management, treasury activities and inter‑company charge‑backs.
• Manage local tax filings, VAT returns and annual corporate tax submissions.
• Coordinate audit processes and ensure compliance with internal policies.
• Supervise accounts receivable and payable, resolve AR issues and prioritize payments.
• Maintain credit control, vendor contracts and ensure adherence to company procedures.
• Partner with regional and corporate finance teams to deliver timely financial data for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years (60 months) of experience in accounting, finance or treasury.
• Strong knowledge of International Accounting Standards (IAS) and local GAAP.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑location finance operations and meet reporting deadlines.
• Experience handling tax compliance, VAT and corporate tax filings.
