Customer Due Diligence Manager (UAE National)

About the role

The Customer Due Diligence (CDD) Manager will support the CDD and CTR Manager in overseeing CDD activities for International Wealth and Premier Banking (IWPB) in the UAE. This senior position ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and drives robust CDD processes across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver CDD requirements according to agreed priorities for IWPB UAE.
• Derive decisions on CDD solutions and escalate issues, risks, and dependencies.
• Implement and maintain the CDD framework, ensuring data integrity and governance.
• Monitor and report operational risks and internal control issues to management and risk committees.

Required profile

• High‑level understanding of financial crime, AML/KYC and CDD activities.
• Knowledge of retail banking products and the UAE regulatory environment.
• Experience in financial services, preferably in AML/KYC roles.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and project‑management skills.
• UAE‑recognised university degree with up‑to‑date attestations if obtained abroad.
