Senior Accountant

About the role

Matrix Finishes is hiring an experienced Senior Accountant for its Finance & Accounts team in Dubai Production City. The role focuses on daily accounting operations, financial reporting, inventory accounting, UAE tax compliance, and management reporting within the trading and distribution sector.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations and prepare financial statements.
• Prepare MIS reports, budgets, and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Handle intercompany transactions and transfer‑pricing activities.
• Support UAE VAT, corporate tax, and statutory compliance.
• Monitor receivables, payables, and working‑capital performance.
• Oversee inventory accounting, stock valuation, and internal controls.
• Coordinate external audits and maintain accurate records in ODOO ERP.
• Provide financial analysis and reports for management decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or M.Com degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, including 5 years as a Senior Accountant.
• UAE experience in the trading and distribution industry.
• Strong knowledge of ODOO ERP and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of IFRS, UAE VAT, corporate tax, and inventory accounting.
• CA Inter, ACCA, or CMA qualification preferred.
