Customer Excellence Systems (ACES) Specialist – Ultra Fast Grocery

About the role

Amazon Ultra Fast Grocery (UFG) is building new business models across the MENA region. The ACES Specialist will lead process‑excellence initiatives, providing teams with the tools and knowledge needed to improve store performance and deliver the best customer experience at the lowest cost.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the UFG store improvement plan focused on customer experience and cost efficiency.
• Develop and embed a culture of continuous improvement and lean thinking.
• Facilitate Kaizen events and drive the implementation of Lean Standard Work and SOPs.
• Train and support all levels of staff in Kaizen and lean methodologies.
• Disseminate Lean Standard Work principles across teams and support the store implementation agenda.
• Own the Leadership Steering Committee (LSC) and coordinate its process‑improvement activities.
• Lead daily Gemba walks, identify root causes, and implement rapid counter‑measures.
• Standardize processes to Amazon and MENA/ECCF benchmark standards.
• Maintain strong relationships with process owners and third‑party stakeholders.
• Use data‑driven arguments to assess root causes and drive innovative solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum 36 months of experience in continuous improvement, preferably in a customer‑facing, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to influence change and communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Strong analytical mindset with a bias for action.
• Familiarity with Kaizen, PDCA and Six Sigma methodologies is advantageous.
