Demi Chef de Partie – Culinary Position

About the role

Join Marriott International’s vibrant kitchen team in Dubai as a Demi Chef de Partie. You will support the culinary team by preparing high‑quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring seamless service during busy periods.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare special meals and substitute items according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters; thaw frozen items safely.
• Ensure proper portioning, arrangement, garnish and maintain accurate food logs.
• Monitor food quality and quantity, communicate assistance needs, and inform the Chef of excess or out‑of‑stock items.
• Assist with cold‑food preparation and daily specials coordination.
• Follow all safety, security and uniform policies; report maintenance or safety issues.
• Support the team in achieving service excellence and uphold guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant culinary experience.
• Technical, trade or vocational school education in culinary arts.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb.
• Strong attention to detail, confidentiality and professional appearance.
