Demi Chef de Partie – Pizza Specialty

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Demi Chef de Partie specialized in pizza preparation to join our kitchen team at a Marriott International property in Dubai Parks & Resorts. The role involves preparing high‑quality pizza dishes, supporting the Chef de Partie, and ensuring consistent service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare specialty pizza meals and substitute items according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters to maintain food safety.
• Pull frozen items, thaw them safely, and ensure proper portioning, arrangement and garnish.
• Maintain food logs and follow food preparation checklists.
• Monitor food quality and quantity, inform the Chef of excess items for daily specials.
• Communicate menu specials and out‑of‑stock items to Food & Beverage service staff.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling and employee coaching as needed.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree related to culinary arts.
• Minimum three years of relevant kitchen experience, preferably in pizza specialty.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.

Required skills

• Oven temperature regulation and broiler/grill operation.
• Food portion control and garnish preparation.
• Food log maintenance and adherence to safety procedures.
